ODA stands for &#8216;Other expertise-enhancing activities&#8217;. <\/p>\n<h2>How many ODA points do you have to achieve as a healthcare professional?<\/h2>\n<p>In 5 years, a healthcare professional must achieve 184 points. For nurses, 104 of these must be ODA points and the other 80 points must be accredited. A caregiver must obtain 124 ODA points and 60 accredited points.  <\/p>\n<p>With CareUp, up to 21 <a href=\"https:\/\/careup.online\/kennisbank\/accreditatiepunten\/\">accreditation points<\/a> can be obtained. This makes it easy for you as a healthcare professional to remain competent and competent and to meet the requirement for healthcare professionals. <\/p>\n<h2>How can you earn ODA points?<\/h2>\n<p>In principle, you can decide for yourself with which activities you as a healthcare professional earn the ODA points. However, there are 3 conditions: <\/p>\n<p>The activity must be aimed at promoting<br \/>\nexpertise as a nurse or carer The activity must not be part of your work<br \/>\nThe activity must not be accredited by the quality register of the V&amp;VN<br \/>\nSome examples of activities with which you can earn ODA points are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clinical lesson<\/li>\n<li>Publish article<\/li>\n<li>Participation in the committee, working group or board<\/li>\n<li>Self-study (reading professional literature \u2013 studying)<\/li>\n<li>The allocation of hours for ODA points is based on the added value that the activity has for your expertise and not on the effort. In general, 1 hour <\/li>\n<li>expertise-promoting activity equal to 1 ODA point.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, there is a fixed number of hours that may be allocated to an ODA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What are ODA points?
