Healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions experience high pressure. There are shortages and there is an aging population in the Netherlands. Despite this high pressure, quality remains an important spearhead within healthcare.
As a former general manager of a healthcare institution, I know how much attention the nursing skills component requires and planning training moments is a major logistical challenge due to divergent schedules of existing staff.
With us it was always quite a task to get and keep everyone competent and competent.
To keep quality high, healthcare professionals must continue to develop. Anyone who works in healthcare knows that skills must be kept up to date by practicing nursing procedures. These are tested every three years.
Until now, practicing the actions was only done in the so-called skills labs. Disadvantage of this; You don’t have access to this skills lab anytime, anywhere, you can’t practice whenever you want, it costs a lot of money and is often a time-consuming task.
We want to ensure that the practical practice of nursing procedures is accessible to everyone, everywhere. This is the reason I developed CareUp in collaboration with the practice.
