Risky actions

What are risky actions?

Risky actions are actions that entail a risk for the client when performing. This means that when a risky action is carried out incompetently and carelessly, it will almost certainly lead to damage to the client. Therefore, high-risk actions may only be performed by healthcare professionals with the right training and a certificate of competence.

With CareUp you can easily demonstrate your competence. You will receive a certificate for every test passed for a reserved or risky act. In addition, you can practice any action at any time of the day, wherever you are. This way you ensure that you are and remain competent at all times!

Are all risky actions reserved?

No, not all high-risk actions are reserved actions. For example, changing an IV bag is a risky action, but not a reserved action. On the other hand, inserting an IV is a reserved act.
